How would you define Artificial Intelligence (AI)?

The process of teaching computers and other machines to think and learn like we are known as AI. For example, AI helps your phone understand your voice or lets a car drive by itself. It's about making machines smart so they can help us with tasks that usually need human thinking, like understanding language, recognizing pictures, or solving problems.

AI has existed for nearly 70 years. Why is it experiencing an impressive growth right now?

AI is growing fast now because computers are more powerful, there is a lot more data to learn from, and new techniques make AI work better.

Can you identify three domains or classes of problems where current AI models still face significant challenges?

Yes, AI still has trouble with:
Understanding human emotions.
Making common-sense decisions.
Dealing with new or unexpected situations.

Can you name at least three application sectors where robots are widely used, and explain why they are employed in those sectors?

Robots are used a lot in:
Factories: They help build cars and machines because they can work quickly and do the same job many times without getting tired.
Hospitals: They assist doctors during surgeries because they can make very precise movements.
Farms: They help plant seeds and harvest crops because they can work for many hours without needing a break.

Do you believe that the convergence of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and fully autonomous robotics is imminent and could potentially have a major impact on the world?

I think that fully intelligent and independent robots are not coming very soon, but when they do, they could change the world in big ways.
